I'm a singer, teacher, lover of costume and nerd! I'm Narcissa in the Wizard Rock group, The Purebloods. Needless to say, I'm a Harry Potter fan! I also love historical costuming and one of my hobbies is sewing costumes for that maven of fashion, Barbie. I love creating things and drawing, although I know I have much to learn. I have a Masters degree in Opera performance and I teach voice and piano lessons.

I think it'll be fun! I've done one so far, Theme # 86 Seeing Red, which is what I entitled my drawing. :)
In other news, I realized I really need to start seriously practicing again. Some of my arias are definitely getting rusty! I'm revisiting The Jewel Song from Faust and Je dis que rien ne m'epouvante from Carmen. I love them both so much!

I'm totally new at this deviantart thing. I've been drawing since I was a kid, but have never really honed my skills. Things I want to learn include consistently drawing characters, drawing fabrics well, learning to draw backgrounds and such...Well, pretty much just learning to draw well. I love the Pin-Up style and am inspired by Duane Bryers' amazing Hilda. Plus size Pin-Ups! I think it's a good idea. So far I'm focusing on taking my wrock band, The Purebloods, creating Pin-Up versions of ourselves and inserting us into comical situations that may befall three gals in the wizarding world. Help and suggestions are totally appreciated
